Charlotte Radford is Fastmarkets’ minors, ores and alloys editor, Europe, based in London. Since joining the company in 2015 she has headed price discovery for a number of industry benchmarks, including cobalt, tungsten and vanadium. Charlotte leads the pricing and editorial team covering minor metals, ores and ferro-alloys, and steers development for new reference prices in the new-energy space, such as cobalt hydroxide and lithium.

William Adams
Head of Base Metals and Battery Research at Fastmarkets

William Adams is Head of Base Metals and Battery Research at Fastmarkets. He previously worked with Rudolf Wolff & Co Ltd, which was one of the founding members of the London Metal Exchange, where he gained broad insight into the metals markets having had experience in trading base metals, bullion, and foreign exchange, being head of research, an account executive and managing director of the company’s Tokyo office.

He is responsible for energy sales to utilities globally, managing a supply and contract portfolio that runs into the mid 2020’s. He has almost 20 years of experience in the power utility and energy markets and has relationships with key energy, OEM and battery buyers and offtake relationships with mines globally.

Joyce Zhang joined FIS cobalt desk in Singapore as battery metals derivatives broker. Prior to FIS, she worked several years at S&P Global Platts assessing APAC nonferrous metals prices, mainly focusing on benchmark aluminium premiums and battery metals (lithium, cobalt and nickel) physical markets. She holds a dual Master’s degree in quantitative finance from Cass Business School and Singapore Management University. She was a scholar with a Bachelor’s degree in engineering from Nanyang Technological University.

Battery Raw Materials Broker, SCB Group 

Martim Facada is a battery raw materials broker at SCB Group, a world leading commodity brokering group of companies that aims to promote the adoption of a low carbon future. Martim previously worked at Fastmarkets as a senior lithium market reporter, responsible for lithium market prices. He worked closely with the key stakeholders in the lithium industry to monitor the latest price identify risks, market trends and overall developments in the industry. Before joining Fastmarkets, Martim worked for Asian Metal as an international metal market analyst looking at cobalt and lithium prices and market intelligence. He also worked as an independent researcher for the London School of Economics.
